AluminumA rigid metal commonly used for cases and plates.: Clean, substantial and precise. Often chosen for structure, finish quality and a more direct response.
PolycarbonateA flexible engineering plastic often used for plates or cases.: Softer visually and mechanically, often associated with more flex and a less rigid response.
FR4A fiberglass laminate also used in printed circuit boards.: A useful middle ground for plate stiffness, resonance and cost.
BrassA dense metal often used for plates, weights and accents.: Dense, weighty and visually rich; useful when mass and a firmer response are desired.
PBTA durable keycap plastic known for texture and resistance to shine.: Textured, durable and commonly associated with a slightly denser keycap feel.
ABSA smooth keycap plastic prized for color quality and crisp legends.: Smooth, vivid and capable of a brighter or more resonant character depending on thickness and profile.
